Search results

Search results are just that output of an algorithm in a search engine. That is the list of pages, such as documents and photos/video, as well as everything else it shows to or brings to a user’s attention after being asked by the user to search something. Results are not thrown at random, but the criteria in which the search engine uses for ranking results depends on the relevance and the authority of the sites to the user’s search. The user is the beneficiary of all this without even being aware of it. Getting difficult is the process of ranking and thus not only takes into consideration the keywords, links back, content quality, user experience, etc., but also provides proper ID along with it. The higher the rank of a site on search result pages, the greater the chances that people see it. This calls for search engines to optimise content as well as the websites for important search keywords to attract more traffic.
