Transforming Digital Presence with a Custom Website Solution

Challenges

Existing website lacked appeal and structure: Although Dealia already had a website, the design was not visually engaging, and the structure did not effectively showcase its wide range of deals and categories. The client needed a modern, clean, and more intuitive layout to enhance user experience.

Diverse service & product verticals: With offerings spanning electronics, fashion, home appliances, gifts, restaurants, and experiences, Dealia required a clear category structure to avoid clutter and help customers find relevant deals quickly.

Vendor management & security: The platform needed a secure vendor onboarding process with manual approval to ensure only authentic vendors could list products.

Improved customer & vendor communication: Automated email notifications were necessary to streamline updates, confirmations, and onboarding.

Service-wise clarity in listing: Each service category needed its own archive page displaying only related products, to simplify navigation and improve user satisfaction.

Client preview before going live: Dummy products were required to help the client visualise the final layout and confirm functionality prior to launch.

Our Solution

Multi-Vendor Marketplace Implementation

  • Set up WordPress + WooCommerce (or equivalent) to support multi-vendor functionality, enabling multiple vendors to register and submit their services/products.
  • Configured a manual vendor-approval workflow (no auto-approval), to ensure only trusted vendors are accepted — adding a layer of security and quality control.

Automated Email System

  • Implemented automatic email notifications for both vendors and customers: e.g., vendor signup, vendor approval/rejection, order confirmation, customer order updates, etc. This ensures smooth communication without manual intervention.

Service-wise Structuring & Archives

  • Created separate archive pages for each service category (Restaurants, Christmas Time, Parties, Gifts – Her, Gifts – Him, Entertainment).
  • On each archive page, only products/services relevant to that category are displayed — providing a clean, intuitive browsing experience.
  • Populated each category with 2 dummy products (for preview) so the client could review the look, feel, and functionality before going live.

UI/UX and Theming

  • Applied the Besa theme, customising its design to match the brand’s colour scheme (orange #FA4F26, white, black) and typography (Open Sans + Roboto Slab).

Ensured a clean, modern, and consistent look across all pages — lending credibility and professional feel to the marketplace.

Ongoing Support & Enhancements
Once approved, deployed the site live. Provided documentation / admin training for vendor approval, product listing, and site maintenance.

Results & Impact

Although full live-data (vendor traffic, sales volume) is pending, the project delivered immediate value in these ways:

Ready multi-vendor marketplace – Client now has a fully functional platform to onboard multiple vendors, expanding the business potential beyond a single-vendor model.

Robust vendor onboarding & control – Manual vendor-approval ensures only trusted vendors are listed, protecting brand quality and customer trust.

Clear navigation and service categorisation – Separate archive pages per service help visitors find relevant services quickly, improving user experience and reducing confusion.

Client confidence before launch – Dummy products allowed the client to preview the site, confirm layout, and approve functionality — resulting in a smooth, risk-free launch.

Scalable & future-ready – The architecture allows for easy expansion (adding more categories or vendors), making Dealia scalable as business grows.

Key Takeaways & Conclusion

For marketplaces with multiple service verticals, organising content by service-wise archives dramatically improves clarity and user navigation.

Manual vendor-approval is a valuable feature when vendor trust and quality control matter  especially for service marketplaces.

Using a base theme (Besa) and customising it with the client’s brand colours/fonts accelerates development while retaining flexibility.

Building with dummy content during development is a smart step  lets stakeholders visualise final output, test workflows, and sign off before going live.

Multi-vendor + email automation + clean structure = a scalable platform that balances ease of use, security, and user experience.

Through this project, we transformed the client’s vision into a fully functional, brand-aligned multi-vendor marketplace. The site now supports varied services (from restaurants to gifts to entertainment), offers strong vendor management, and ensures a clean, user-friendly browsing experience. With the groundwork laid proper architecture, content structure, and workflow. Dealia is well-positioned to grow, onboard new vendors, and scale across multiple services.
