[ Why we publish prices ]

SEO packages and pricing you can compare before you call

Most agencies hide SEO pricing behind a get-a-quote button because they price by what they think you will pay. We publish ours, because a business owner comparing SEO packages in Australia deserves to see the number, the inclusions and the exclusions before a sales call.

The tiers below are the same ones on our SEO agency in Parramatta and Sydney page. This page explains what each one buys, who it suits, and what SEO costs across the market, so you can judge whether ours is fair.

Nothing here is a teaser rate. The number you see is the number on the invoice, and every plan is month to month with 30 days notice.

SEO pricing, Australia: what's included in monthly retainers

Included across the Local, Growth and Authority monthly retainers. Content and link-building volumes scale by tier, see the plans above. The $240 On-Page tier is a one-time optimisation and does not include the ongoing items below.

Excludes: paid ad spend & Google Ads management · website builds / redesigns · third-party directory paid listings · content beyond the stated blog quota · professional copywriting outside SEO content.

[ What each tier buys ]

SEO packages, Sydney to regional: which one suits which business

On-Page tune-up, $240 one-off. Titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal links and basic Search Console and Analytics setup on up to six pages, with a one-off summary. For a new site that needs its foundations set, or a small site with obvious gaps. It does not build rankings by itself.

Local, $750 a month. Ten tracked keywords, up to five pages optimised, Google Business Profile optimisation, local citations, two 500-word blogs a month, basic AI-search optimisation and a monthly report. The right SEO package for a single-location business competing on suburb and service searches.

Growth, $1,500 a month. Twenty tracked keywords, the full site optimised, two 1,000-word and two 500-word blogs a month, link building and guest content, Google Business Profile posts, a rank-tracking dashboard and competitor tracking. For businesses targeting Sydney-wide terms or several services.

Authority, from $2,500 a month. Forty or more keywords across multiple locations, six or more blogs a month with a content strategy, digital PR and a stronger link programme, AEO and GEO focus for AI search, review and reputation signals, conversion optimisation, and fortnightly reporting with a call.

SEO packages in Sydney. The tiers are national, but most WebGlobals clients are Sydney businesses and Sydney changes the calculation. Suburb and local terms are winnable on a Local package. Sydney-wide head terms are contested by well-funded agencies, so an SEO package for Sydney head terms is usually Growth or Authority. We will tell you which in the review, with the keyword list that justifies it.

[ Small business ]

SEO packages for small business, and which one fits

A small business SEO package has to do three things: get you into the Google Map pack for your suburb, rank your service pages for the searches your customers actually type, and prove it is working every month without a 40-page report. That is the Local tier.

Ten keywords is deliberately modest. It forces a choice of the ten searches that would bring enquiries, rather than a list of two hundred that look impressive and convert nothing. Typical Local clients are a single clinic, a trades business covering a few suburbs, an accountant or a boutique retailer.

The plan runs for at least three months before we judge it, because that is how long Google takes to trust new signals, and it is month to month throughout. If the first three months show the ten keywords moving, the conversation is about adding ten more, not about renewing a contract.

[ SEO cost ]

How much does SEO cost? Australia-wide pricing

SEO pricing in Australia in 2026 falls into three broad bands. Freelancers and low-cost providers charge $300 to $700 a month, usually for a fixed list of tasks with little strategy. Agencies charge $750 to $5,000 a month for small and medium businesses, with the range driven by keyword competitiveness, locations and content volume. Enterprise programmes run from $5,000 to $20,000 a month and beyond.

Be wary of both ends. A cost for SEO under $300 a month rarely covers the hours the work takes, and a price above $5,000 a month for a single-location business is paying for an agency’s overheads rather than your rankings. What should the cost for SEO buy? Technical fixes, page-level optimisation, local signals, content and links, in that order, plus honest reporting.

Ask any provider three questions: how many hours a month go into your account, who does the work, and what do they report. If the answers are vague, the SEO pricing is too. Ours are on this page. SEO and Google Ads are often compared on cost, but they do different jobs: ads buy visibility now and stop when the budget stops, SEO compounds and keeps working. Our SEO vs Google Ads guide explains when to use which.

[ Exclusions ]

SEO for small business: packages and what they do not include

Paid ad spend and Google Ads management, website builds or redesigns (see web design), third-party paid directory listings, content beyond the stated blog quota, and copywriting outside SEO content.

AI SEO beyond the basic layer included in each tier is a separate AI SEO service from $750 a month. Every monthly tier here already includes basic AI-search optimisation for ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity; the dedicated service goes further on answer engine and generative engine optimisation.

Everything included is listed on the tier cards above. If something you need is not there, ask, and we will price it before any work starts.

[ Common questions ]

SEO package, Sydney and Australia-wide: your questions

What SEO costs, what each tier includes, and which one suits your business.

For a small to medium business, SEO typically costs between $750 and $5,000 a month ex GST, depending on market competitiveness, keywords and locations targeted, and how much content and link building is included. Our packages are $750, $1,500 and $2,500 a month, plus a $240 one-off tune-up, with no lock-in.
Keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, local citations, monthly content, link building from the Growth tier, Search Console and Analytics setup, and a monthly rank and traffic report. Tracked keywords, pages, blogs and links scale with the tier.
Most start on Local at $750 a month: 10 tracked keywords, up to 5 pages optimised, Google Business Profile, citations and two short blogs a month. Move to Growth when you want Sydney-wide or multi-service coverage. These are the SEO packages for small business owners who want to see movement before they spend more.
Yes. The same packages apply, and because we are based in Parramatta, local SEO across Sydney suburbs is where most clients start. Sydney-wide head terms are usually a Growth or Authority package because of the competition.
Rankings are earned over months of consistent work and then defended against competitors who keep moving. A monthly package funds that at a steady pace. Ours are month to month with 30 days notice.
The $240 On-Page tune-up sets the foundations on up to six pages. It is worth it for a new site or one with obvious on-page gaps. It does not build rankings on its own; the monthly packages do that.
Yes. Every monthly tier includes basic AI-search optimisation and Authority focuses on it. A dedicated AI SEO retainer from $750 a month adds answer engine and generative engine optimisation so ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews cite you.
