Home / Blog / Content Marketing Agency in Sydney
A content marketing agency plans, writes, publishes and distributes the articles, pages, posts and emails that bring a business enquiries over time. In Sydney in 2026, small-business retainers typically run $1,500 to $5,000 a month, or $200 to $600 per article. We include content marketing inside our SEO packages, which carry blog content from $750 a month, and social media management from $200 a month, rather than selling it as a separate retainer.

A set number of pieces a month, planned against the keyword map
Month 1. Keyword and topic map, competitor review, a content calendar for the quarter, and the first two to four pieces. Nothing ranks yet, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
Months 2 and 3. Steady publishing. Early pages appear somewhere between positions 20 and 50, and the Google Business Profile posts and social content start producing engagement.
Months 4 to 6. The first pages reach page one for long-tail terms, enquiries start arriving from content, and the report can attribute them. The oldest pieces get their first refresh.
Months 6 to 12. The compounding phase. Each new piece links to and lifts the ones before it, and your main service pages start ranking on the strength of the cluster built around them.
Ask to see three pieces they wrote for a business like yours, then check whether those pieces actually rank for anything.
Ask who writes: in-house, a contractor, or AI with no editor. All three can work, but the last needs a human who knows your business checking every claim.
Ask how they choose topics. From your keyword research and your sales calls is the right answer. From a content calendar template is not.
Ask what they report. Enquiries attributed to content, or pieces delivered. Only one of those is a result.
Ask who owns the content and the accounts if you leave. It should be you.
Everything you need to know. Still unsure? Ask us directly.
Tell us the service you most want enquiries for. We will send back the three pieces we would publish first and why, within one business day.
